About this project
This initiative brought together diverse marginalized communities in Cambodia to build solidarity, confidence, and collective voice. Working across five groups including Indigenous women, women with disabilities, LGBTQI+ people, minority women, and inter-ethnic youth, the initiative focused on creating safe spaces for connection, leadership, and shared advocacy. Through participatory learning, community dialogue, creative engagement, and public events, participants strengthened relationships across identities that had often remained separate. The work emphasized unity building and intersectional advocacy, enabling communities to better understand each other's realities while building confidence to speak publicly and engage stakeholders. Over time, the initiative supported the emergence of cross-community networks and collective action, with participants increasingly raising shared demands and contributing to public conversations on inclusion, discrimination, and social justice in Cambodia.
