This initiative strengthened women's rights and leadership across six provinces in Cambodia through a multi-partner collaboration that brought together civil society organizations and local communities. The work focused on building knowledge, confidence, and collective action among women and youth while strengthening connections between communities and local authorities. Through training, dialogue, and community-based engagement, participants increased their understanding of gender equality, domestic violence prevention, and women's participation in leadership and decision making. The initiative also supported advocacy and network building to promote more inclusive governance and stronger collaboration between civil society and local institutions. By combining grassroots empowerment with systems-level engagement, the initiative contributed to shifting gender norms and expanding space for women and youth leadership in both community and political processes.
