A pilot study by Monash GPS and WPM Cambodia examining how unpaid care responsibilities create barriers to women's meaningful participation in peace and security work. Finds that women perform the large majority of care work in Cambodia, reducing their capacity for peacebuilding and peacekeeping roles, and recommends advancing an ethics of care in peace and security work through investments in affordable childcare, gender-responsive policies, and addressing maternal bias in organizations.
